12V Makita NiCad to Lithium Ion Conversion of 1222 Battery(LiPo Too)

I bought a new one?
\"3 amp hour battery for my 12 volt ranch.
It was a dumb bullet from the beginning.
The low power may have been on the shelf for 5 years and it doesn\'t get better to use it.
The replacement had screws to separate the battery, the old one didn\'t, so I noticed that the old one could be used as a lithium ion conversion, so I found a convenient place to cut in with a hacksaw and then separate the plastic.
Cut around and then the screwdriver blade will split half well and it will even go back to its original position and stay there.
Put the old battery in a secondary battery and screw the plastic case off it and the battery is broken.
The top connector is also coming out, so you have a temperature sensor and something else connected to the side of the battery.
I left the temperature sensor there, but the other thing doesn\'t seem to affect charging.
Please comment if anyone knows what it is.
Cut off and save the battery connector from the battery.
You will need 3 lithium ion 18650 batteries nominal 3. 7 Volts .
Don\'t bring the following.
No more than 4 volts for 5 volts. 2 Volts -A BMS (
Battery Management Board)for 3S (3 in series )
And an old battery box.
Lithium ion battery-Watch out .
You want the capacity as high as you can, but they are all lying.

You can do better than I took a sharp chisel and removed the plastic holder from the top and bottom.
I used a protective board and I bought it on ebay for pennies and ran the wires as shown.
Understand it correctly, otherwise it will not work and use the same color for red and black, Pos and Neg, and other wires.

First peel the end and tin and use a strong iron and tin drop ball at the end of each battery.
The three batteries are connected in series, and the induction line reaches the junction and the last positive pole to complete.

If you drop the drill bit, you may want to stick the package together with tape or glue to prevent it from falling off.
I\'m trying to make it all better and it seems like the 4 Series will produce better torque and speed as this gives the nominal 3. 7 x 4 = 14.
8 V, so the motor runs sweetly at this point.
The maximum voltage is 4x4. 2 = 16. 8V.
Tried it with 5 = 21 volts and motor purring.
These motors are hardyThe chargers that continue to show red flashing led, so it may be set to output a voltage of 18 volts, and devices connected to the side of one of the old batteries may stop some pre-ChargersDefine the voltage.
So I\'ll see if that\'s the case and update it.
This change to 4 requires a 4S version of the BMS, and I still have some to come, so if the charger is out of balance, you can\'t put the bag in the charger for too long.
