GSL ENERGY successfully commissioned a 150MWh grid-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Morowali, a strategic industrial zone on Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. This region is home to intensive mining and metallurgical operations, placing immense strain on the local electrical grid due to rapidly growing and fluctuating power demands.

The deployment of this advanced lithium battery system is part of a broader effort to modernize Indonesia's energy infrastructure and reduce reliance on fossil fuel-based peak power plants.
