A GSL ENERGY distributor completed the installation of a 16kWh battery in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The project uses a single floor-standing unit, positioned against the wall beside the wall-mounted electrical equipment.
The installation makes use of the available floor space without placing the weight of the battery on the wall. Its upright enclosure keeps the system layout compact, while the front of the unit remains accessible for inspection. The site photo also shows how the battery and electrical equipment were arranged within the same indoor area.
For customers planning a similar system, battery capacity is only one part of the design. The distributor must also check the inverter connection, electrical protection, installation clearances, and expected loads at the site. In this Uyo project, the selected configuration provides 16kWh of nominal battery storage in one enclosure.
This installation adds to GSL ENERGY's portfolio of locally delivered energy storage projects in Nigeria and shows a practical layout for a floor-standing battery where space along the wall is available.
