Airbus and Williams will collaborate to develop high altitude solar uav system

Airbus and Williams, senior engineering company, announced that the two companies have already established cooperative partnership, and explore the innovation culture is likely to Williams, lightweight composite materials and battery expertise with airbus Zephyr high altitude pseudolite ( 也许不久) Plan of combining the technical potential areas of cooperation.

Zephyr is a solar unmanned aircraft system ( UAS) , has a unique communication and monitoring ability, can fly more than 65000 feet higher than that of commercial air traffic, for months at a time. The first batch of production instance is ember, built for the British ministry of defence.
