checking and charging motorcycle batteries

How is motorcycle battery rated? The amp/hour (AH)
Capacity is the basis for rating motorcycle batteries.
For example, a 12AH battery can produce a current of 1 amp in 12 hours, or a current of 2 amps in 6 hours.
In order to calculate the time it takes to use a fully charged motorcycle battery by turning on the light, we have to divide it in Watts by the voltage, which gives us the ampere current.
Therefore, the beam of 72 watts is combined with the tail, divided by 12 volts equal to 6-amp draw.
After 2 hours, the 12AH battery was dead.
Check motorcycle battery: please follow this actual factory if you decide to check if your new motorcycle battery is correct-
Recommended service procedures.
If the battery is not for repair-
Free type with no ventilation tube, turn on the battery, open the ventilation tube, cut about half
Inches from the finish line.
Fill with electrolyte in the middle (
Between the high level and the low level mark on the housing)
Keep it undisturbed for an hour or two.
Keep in mind that at this point the battery is still only 65% full.
Add electrolyte again if needed.
If your battery is a recharged lead-
Type Sb, should be in a-
The third of its rated capacity, in four to five hours, in amp/hour to make it fully charged. Maintenance-
The free type of battery should be constant-
A current charger that can drive charging at speeds up to 16. 9 volts.
Close supervision should be carried out so as not to exceed the full charge.
Next, re-check the electrolyte level and add water if needed.
Let the battery cool so that the box is shrink enough to fit into a small stand that is usually tight.
If the battery comes with a new breathing tube, carefully run the new one through the original factory route.
Things to remember when charging the battery: 1.
First of all, it is important to remember that red is positive and black is negative to avoid any accidents such as short
Circuit and serious impact. 2.
The charger should be compatible with the motorcycle battery and provide a larger but not too high output than the battery voltage. 3.
Make sure the connection is clean, the electrolyte is on the upper level, and do not fill the battery to the top of the battery. 4.
You can use the Optimizer on the battery and when the battery is charged and prevents overheating, the optimizer can effectively turn off the battery or disconnect the battery manually. 5.
It is recommended to charge your battery every two or three weeks. 6.
The upper and lower batteries should have all the batteries at the upper level, not the batteries at the upper and lower levels. 7.
To remove low cells, only distilled water is used. 8.
The minimum charge for new batter is at least 8 hours. 9.
If you have a dry battery, fill the battery slowly and keep the battery for about half an hour.
