The 36 v golf cart requires a 36 v charger and a 48v charger for the 48v golf cart.
If you have a 36v golf cart and later decide to upgrade to a 48v golf cart by adding two additional 6v batteries, you can purchase an additional 12v charger for two new batteries, it is also possible to replace the 36v charger with a 48v charger, as long as the voltage of the charger corresponds to the voltage of the battery.
In order to keep the golf cart running strongly, you will want to charge the battery after each use.
Most of the new chargers are fully automatic, which means they can adjust the current so you don\'t overdo it

If you have an old golf cart charger that is not fully automated, you will want to set up a timer to turn off the charger after your cart is fully charged.

At this point, it is better to strictly add a separate auxiliary battery to run your accessories, or add a converter to evenly distribute the power of all batteries to your accessories.
When replacing the battery, you need to consider the correct golf cart battery handling.
To recycle old batteries, you should take them to the retailers that recycle the old ones for resale.
