Winter is coming, but that doesn\'t mean we can\'t continue riding.
How can we avoid the biting cold wind and cold?
Heat the gear, of course!
When riding at a winter temperature, the heated equipment will keep all parts of your body warm, so say no to the low temperature!
I am a year-round rider, and although I moved to Austin, Texas later, where cycling is tolerable in winter, I used to live in Baltimore, in Maryland, the winter ride will last for a long time below the freezing temperature, and there are some white things.
Heating the gear is a great thing
Believe me at this point.
I used to have a warm vest and gloves.
This is the case with heating gears;
Use heating elements to create warm motorcycle clothing and accessories.
Many motorcycle companies also offer their own versions (
Harley Davidson and BMW)
Usually produced by high-end manufacturers.
Of course, this usually means that all quality is twice the price, but this kind of thing depends on the individual customer.
How does heating motorcycle gear work?
According to the brand and the number of gears used during riding, the power of most heated gears is between 15 and 100 watts.
You really have two types of power output.
You can power it with your motorcycle battery, or you can run it with a separate rechargeable battery that is placed directly or sewn into clothes.
This is not to say that they are interchanged, so see what power it needs before you buy it!
I have the plug type that runs on my motorcycle 12 volt battery.
Unlimited ride time available.
The downside is that this means it only works when riding.
Away from the bike, away from the hot weather.
Comes with lithium batteries (usually 7. 4 volt)
The average supply and duration is 4 to 10 hours depending on the heat setting.
You have to plug in the battery charger when the battery is dead, after 4 hours; presto!
Independence provides more flexibility and warmth when you are away from your motorcycle.
All the clothes work at the temperature.
The controller can be set manually to the desired temperature.
If you use a couple of heated gears, they usually connect together so that a control works all the way to prevent you from looking rejected like a sci-fi robot.

Depending on the heating device you purchased, the price ranges from $70 to $300.
Wear the tips for heating the gear as close to your body as possible without really touching your skin.
For this reason, I prefer vest lining and glove lining to the actual jacket and glove options.
Also, I always wear leather as my outer layer to protect the wind and collision.
Always remember that the wind and cold are your enemies as much as the actual temperature.
The thermometer doesn\'t tell the whole story, so it\'s warm to wear.
Also, when you risk too much reduction of core temperature or dehydration, avoid riding in the cold for a long time --
In the cold, you may not expect such a thing to happen.
