Italy Energy Storage Project Case – 90kWh GSL High Voltage Stackable Battery

On June 3, 2025, a residential user in Italy successfully installed a 90 kWh GSL High Voltage (HV) stackable battery system in their home garage.   The solution, occupying just one wall, delivers powerful energy storage while saving space, providing both aesthetic installation and real-world energy independence.

System Configuration:

3 units of 15kVA HV inverters

3 sets of 30 kWh HV batteries, each set includes:

8 battery modules (3.84 kWh each)

1 HV control cabinet

With a modular design, the three 30kWh systems are connected in parallel to form a 90kWh total storage capacity, perfectly tailored for both daily household consumption and remote working loads.

Grid + PV Ready:

This HV battery system is designed for hybrid connectivity, seamlessly integrating with both rooftop solar panels and the local grid. During the day, the system stores solar energy and discharges it at night, maximizing solar utilization and reducing reliance on the grid. This is one of the most effective applications of high-voltage batteries for energy storage in modern smart homes.
