It\'s not just a crossover with the battery pack and the motor.

Rise, tilt four
The 117 hp cylinder engine matches the 80 hp motor and one
Speed, drive the front wheel directly.
At the back is another 80-horsepower motor with a lithium in the middle of 12 KW-
Ion battery pack located under the floor.

Oddly, Mitsubishi did not release hp/torque combo numbers like most of its electric competitors. Mitsubishi’s S-AWC (Super-All-Wheel-Control)
It is one of the best AWC systems in the market and standard.
At start-up, PHEV is only running on an electric motor, but with a range of 35 kilometers, much better than a competitor, and the closest is the Volvo x60plugin at 27 km.
The engine will start after that, but you can restart
Charge the battery by sliding or regenerative braking.
The drive is mainly to the front wheel, but there is a torque transfer at the back depending on the situation.
However, the disadvantage is that the rear motor is not directly connected to the front shaft, so there is no parasitic resistance.
So essentially you have three modes, starting with the electric car mode.
In a series hybrid mode, the drive is driven by an engine as a generator to increase the power of the motor.
The parallel hybrid mode is the power of the engine to provide electric motor assistance as needed.

And two motors (80 hp each)with a one-

If you want to use the engine as little as possible to charge the battery, you can find one of the more and more public stations and use the charging cable under the rear cargo layer.
The cargo volume behind the rear seat is 861 liters, and the rear seat is 2,209 liters when folded. --
First-class charging (110-
V household socket)
About eight hours.
Level 2 charging (240-volt)takes about 3.
Public level 3 5 hours (300-volt)
Charge 80 at the station 25-30 minutes.
The reason Outphev is so flexible is that the driver can enhance the distance by activating the EV priority button on the center console, which only uses the motor until the battery runs out.
The driver can then switch to battery charging mode while moving, and the engine/generator provides up to 80 battery charging in about 40 minutes.
Charging port can hold 110volt or 240-
Charging cable. --
If the driver wants to save the battery for later, there is a battery save mode that will turn it off until it is needed.
Most importantly, there is a paddle on the wheel hub that can be used to increase the regenerative braking at five grading levels.
Like all these electric cars I \'ve been driving these days, it sounds complicated.
But the driver or passenger will not feel or notice anything unusual.
Press the start button to turn off the battery first.
With the battery down, you can either dial the mode you want or let outsiders think.

The combined electric equivalent is 3. 0/3. 4/3.
