Tecchren Batteries to open lithium ion battery unit in Andhra Pradesh | Vijayawada News - Times of India

VJAYAWADA: the Tecchren battery will build a lithium ion battery production plant in Andhra Pradesh.
The Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Commission (APEDB) and the Tecchren battery signed a memorandum of understanding here on Monday.
The memorandum of understanding signed the agreement on APEDB, managing director of J Krishna Kishore, and the economic partnership.
The executive chairman urandai spoke before Chief Secretary Anil Chandra Panetta.
Tecchren Inc. is a private company established under the laws of Delaware, USA organized by technology, operations, finance, policy professionals in Asia, North America and Europe
Manufacturing and environmental issues.
Established in India, the United States and the Philippines, Tecchren Inc. produces and distributes advanced lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO) batteries. Tecchren Inc.
A subsidiary, called Tecchren battery Private Limited, has been set up in India and 200 MWh lithium ion battery manufacturing has been set up in Sri Lanka.
The proposed investment is approximately Rs 446 crore, which can accommodate 700,000 units per year and will have more than 200 employees (130 directly and 70 indirectly ).
The Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Commission facilitated the proposed investment, a single point of contact leading sustainable growth through investment, partnerships and cooperation.
J. krishna Kishore said the memorandum of understanding is a step in the right direction as electronic products are a priority for the Andhra Pradesh government and India is becoming Andhra Pradesh\'s largest lithium-ion manufacturing center in China, the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Bureau is considering facilitating the construction of the Andhra Pradesh lithium-ion battery manufacturing park.
Andhra Pradesh\'s electric vehicle policy also facilitates lithium-ion manufacturers.
The country will enhance its partnership with Australia, China and Argentina to provide continuous lithium supply to its manufacturing partners.
