The GSL ENERGY LB-WP-6K is a compact 51.2V 122Ah wall-mounted LiFePO4 battery designed for residential solar energy storage, electricity management, and home backup power. Each unit provides 6.24kWh of nominal energy while keeping floor space available for other equipment.

Up to 18 batteries can be connected in parallel, allowing the system to expand from 6.24kWh to 112.32kWh as household loads or backup requirements increase. Automatic module networking eliminates manual DIP-switch address settings, simplifying initial commissioning and future capacity expansion.

An IP65 enclosure supports flexible residential installation, while WiFi and Bluetooth provide convenient access to operating data. Inside the battery, an integrated CCS structure reduces separate wiring connections and helps limit connection-related faults, localized heat buildup, and temperature differences between cells.

    A compact and scalable wall-mounted LiFePO4 battery developed for residential solar energy storage, electricity management, and backup power.

    A Residential Battery That Can Grow with the Property

    Household electricity demand often changes over time. A homeowner may begin with a modest solar array and later add more panels, air conditioning, a heat pump, an EV charger, or other electrical loads.

    The LB-WP-6K uses a modular parallel architecture to accommodate these changes. A system can begin with one or several 6.24kWh batteries, with additional units added when longer backup time or greater storage capacity is required.

    Up to 18 batteries can operate in parallel, providing a maximum nominal capacity of 112.32kWh. This allows the residential energy storage system to expand without replacing the original battery platform.

    Suitable for Solar Self-Consumption and Backup Power

    A residential solar system may generate more electricity during the day than the property can use immediately. The LB-WP-6K can store available solar energy and make it available later when solar production falls or household demand increases.

    When integrated with a properly configured compatible inverter, the stored energy can support evening loads, reduce grid consumption during higher-tariff periods, and provide backup power during an outage.

    Actual power output, backup duration, and supported loads depend on the inverter configuration, number of batteries, connected equipment, and complete system design.

    51.2V LiFePO4 Battery Architecture

    The LB-WP-6K is built on a 51.2V lithium iron phosphate battery platform. Each module has a rated capacity of 122Ah, a nominal energy capacity of 6.24kWh, and an operating voltage range of 44–57.6V.

    Both the recommended and maximum charge and discharge current are rated at 100A. The final inverter, cable, protection, and battery configuration should be selected according to the electrical requirements of the residential solar storage system.

    More Usable Energy from Each Module

    With a depth of discharge of at least 95%, each 6.24kWh battery provides approximately 5.928kWh of usable energy. This allows more of the stored capacity to support everyday residential loads.

    The correct number of batteries should be calculated using essential load power, expected operating time, inverter capacity, solar production, and the required backup reserve rather than nominal battery capacity alone.

    Simplified Internal Connections with CCS Technology

    Conventional battery construction may rely on numerous individual wires and connection points. The LB-WP-6K uses an integrated CCS structure to simplify the internal connection layout and reduce dependence on discrete wiring harnesses.

    Reducing separate connections helps limit potential harness-related failure points. The integrated structure also helps manage localized heat and cell temperature differences, supporting more consistent long-term battery operation.

    Faster Multi-Battery Commissioning

    Configuring a larger residential battery bank can take additional time when every module requires a manually assigned communication address. The LB-WP-6K supports automatic battery networking without DIP-switch address coding.

    This simplifies initial commissioning and makes future capacity expansion more manageable for installers and system operators.

    Local and Remote Operating Visibility

    Four LED indicators show the battery state of charge from 25% to 100%. Separate status indicators display normal operation, alarm, and protection conditions, allowing users and installers to review basic battery status directly at the unit.

    WiFi and Bluetooth provide wireless access to operating information, while CAN and RS485 ports support data exchange with compatible residential energy storage equipment.

    Inverter compatibility and the required battery communication protocol should be confirmed before ordering or installation.

    Designed for a Range of Residential Environments

    The battery supports discharge operation from -20°C to 55°C and charging from 0°C to 55°C. It can operate at 5%–95% relative humidity and at altitudes below 4,000 metres.

    Its IP65-rated enclosure protects against dust and water ingress. The final installation location must still comply with local electrical codes, environmental conditions, equipment clearance requirements, and GSL ENERGY installation instructions.

    Long-Term Performance and Compliance

    The LB-WP-6K is rated for at least 6,500 cycles when tested at 25±2°C, using 0.5C charge and discharge rates, to 80% end-of-life capacity.

    Available certifications and transport documents include CB-IEC62619, EN 61000-6-1, EN 61000-6-3, UN38.3, and MSDS. The battery is supplied with a 10-year warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms, system configuration, and operating conditions.
