GSL Energy Installs 500 kW/1.044 MWh Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage System in Germany

The project is located on a small-to-medium-sized family farm in Lower Saxony, Germany. The owner is a local traditional farmer, and the farm primarily focuses on crop cultivation and livestock farming. Electricity consumption is concentrated in irrigation, livestock equipment, and household use. Given the high local electricity rates and frequent grid fluctuations, the owner sought a cost-effective solution to significantly reduce electricity costs and ensure backup power supply, while also complying with the EU's renewable energy transition requirements.

Solution Configuration

GSL ENERGY customized a cost-effective 500kW/1044kWh solar-plus-storage solution for the client, deploying four GSL CESS-125K261 125kW/261kWh liquid-cooled integrated commercial energy storage cabinets. These units were connected in parallel to form a medium-sized energy storage system, tailored to the electricity scale and budget requirements of small-to-medium-sized farms.

2. Flexible Deployment, Plug-and-Play: The prefabricated, container-style integrated design requires no complex infrastructure. It can be deployed directly in a farmyard, with a short construction cycle and rapid grid connection and commissioning.

The entire series is CE-certified and complies with German grid connection standards, making it suitable for Germany's temperate maritime climate and worry-free outdoor deployment.
