GSL Energy's 261kWh Liquid-Cooling BESS Cabinet is a fully integrated, factory-assembled energy storage system that combines battery packs, PCS, BMS, EMS, liquid cooling, fire suppression, and safety components into a single compact enclosure.
Designed with a high-voltage 832V architecture, this cabinet delivers superior efficiency, lower current, and greater system stability compared to low-voltage solutions, making it ideal for medium- and large-scale C&I deployments.
At the front of the cabinet, the HMI touchscreen and indicator lights allow operators to monitor system status in real time and performlocal control.
When opened, the cabinet reveals a clean, modular, and well-organized internal layout, simplifying installation, maintenance, and future scalability.
Battery Configuration & Electrical Architecture
Each battery pack: 52.25kWh
Each pack contains: 52 units of 314Ah LiFePO₄ cells
Total packs: 5 battery packs
Total system capacity: 261kWh battery
Nominal system voltage: 832V
This high-voltage design reduces cable losses and improves overall energy conversion efficiency.
The cabinet supports up to 16 units in parallel, enabling flexible system expansion from 261kWh to over 4MWh, perfectly matching the scaling needs of factories, commercial parks, agricultural facilities, and microgrids.
Advanced Safety Design for C&I Environments
Safety is a core design priority for this cabinet.
At the top of the cabinet:
Heat detector
Smoke detector
Aerosol fire suppression module
If extreme thermal runaway conditions are detected, the system automatically triggers the aerosol fire suppression system to immediately suppress any fire risk.
Additionally, every battery pack is equipped with a pressure relief valve. In abnormal conditions, internal pressure is released automatically, delivering an explosion-proof safety mechanism that significantly enhances system reliability.
The MSD (Manual Service Disconnect) high-voltage safety switch allows technicians to safely cut off power during maintenance.
Intelligent Control: BMS, EMS & PCS Integration
Inside the cabinet:
Self-developed BMS manages charging, discharging, balancing, and protection of the battery cluster
The control box acts as the central battery cluster management unit
Self-developed EMS acts as the brain of the system, enabling energy scheduling and system optimization
125kW PCS converts AC/DC power, functioning as the heart of the system
Auxiliary power supply ensures stable power distribution for internal components
This deep integration ensures seamless coordination between battery, PCS, and EMS for optimal performance in both on-grid and off-grid scenarios.
Liquid Cooling Thermal Management System
At the bottom of the cabinet lies the liquid-cooling unit, responsible for thermal management of all battery modules.
Compared to air cooling, liquid cooling provides:
More uniform temperature control
Longer battery lifespan
Higher system efficiency
Exceptional performance in sub-zero environments
A built-in dehumidifier maintains proper humidity levels inside the cabinet, preventing condensation and extending component life.
Ideal Applications
This 261kWh liquid-cooling cabinet is widely used in:
