On September 7, 2025, the GSL ENERGY team embarked on a follow-up visit to a remote village in Johor, Malaysia, to meet with clients who had installed commercial and industrial energy storage systems. Located approximately 200 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur, this area had long been isolated from the national grid due to its remote location. For 20 local households, nights were once lit by candles and powered by diesel generators, making stable electricity an unattainable luxury in their daily lives.
Upon receiving the request, the GSL ENERGY team did not rush to advance the project. Instead, they conducted an in-depth village survey, meticulously analyzing villagers' electricity usage habits, appliance power requirements, and peak consumption periods. Based on field data, we developed a customized off-grid commercial and industrial energy storage solution for the area.
In 2024, the project was officially implemented—installing three 25kW/172kWh commercial and industrial integrated energy storage systems, achieving a total storage capacity of 516kWh. This system not only meets the lighting and appliance needs of 20 households but also completely eliminates the village's reliance on costly diesel generators, achieving true clean energy independence.

Intelligent Energy Management System (EMS): Our proprietary smart management system enables a cyclical operation where solar power is generated and stored during the day, then discharged for nighttime use. It monitors power generation, storage capacity, and load in real time, automatically optimizing scheduling to maximize clean energy utilization.
Weather Resilience: Even during prolonged rainy periods, the system's stored energy meets basic electricity needs, eliminating dependence on weather-dependent power supply. This ensures uninterrupted electricity, significantly enhancing villagers' sense of security.
On the follow-up visit, the GSL ENERGY team reunited with local project leaders for a commemorative photo. Both parties reviewed the entire process from research and design to installation and commissioning, express
ing high praise for the system's stable performance over the past year.
Today, 20 households have bid farewell to dark nights, as clean energy-powered lights transform village life. Though devoid of city neon, the stability and peace of mind brought by this system open new possibilities for education, healthcare, and economic development.
